Rough sketch of planned features

• Release 1.1

  Planned release date: May 2, 2005 (concurrent with BioCOMP PI meeting)

  Features:
  

  • This is the first official release, which includes much of the basic functionality necessary to do bifurcation analysis. This inludes time series, batched one and two parameter bifurcation runs, management of input/output in the workspace (stored in an xml database). To many details to inlcude.
  • This release will include basic BioSPICE Dashboard Analyzers for time series and single one parameter bifurcation generation, in addition to a plotter for viewing results.

• Release 1.2

  Planned release date: early summer 2005

  Features:
  

  • Batched time-series/one-parameter runs from a JigCell-style runfile
  • More flexibility in graphing (combining plots, adding text, etc)
  • Full/tested "global" flag support (this exists in v1.1, but is considered experimental)
  • Much improved ODE file support (functional expressions, etc)

• Release 1.3

  Planned release date: mid summer 2005

  Features:
  

  • Linux compatibility (for o8core at the very least)
  • Workspace maintenance (clean, zip, etc)
  • User configurability (workspace settings, colors, etc)
  • Print capabilities
  • Improved BioSPICE integration
  • SBW module support (for o8core)

• Release 2.0

  Planned release date: Fall 2005

  Features:
  

  • Bifurcation search capabilities
  • Rudimentary bifurcation matching
